Dropbox is one of the file syncs and and Backs-Up Files between Computers Instantaneously, that make my thumb-drive become more useless. it able to backs up and syncs your files over the internet and to any computer. After you install the application, it will create a Dropbox folder on your hard drive. Any file you put inside that folder will automatically be synced and monitored for changes, and each time a change is saved.

Recently dropbox is given free 2 GB to sync and backup your files, not so bad of space. it available to Mac, Win and Linux.

J^st follow the instruction.

2. Run the DropBox in Applications folder.
3. Follow the Instruction to create a new Account, after register it will create a short icon on the taskbar and the folder in the Finder.

J^st drop the file to the dropbox folder it will automatically sync, in here i drop Assignment1B.pdf.

To see the files on the Web Interface j^st right click on the dropbox icon on the taskbar select “Web Interfaces”.
There you go can see the files.

*** you also can go to dropbox site, then login to see your sync files.

Today at the Office learn out something, ^^ jushin noona laptop battery is close to die cut the usage to 45 min. i was thinking it already end of the life and get the new battery. suddenly my lead said to calibrate the battery. at the beginning i not so sure about calibrate then google found this article.

i never calibrate my macbook battery since i bought it more than 6 month ago. i trying tonight to see the performance.

Calibrating a MacBook or MacBook Pro battery

Calibrate the battery in your MacBook or MacBook Pro every month or two to keep your battery functioning at its fullest capacity.

To calibrate the battery:

1. Plug in the MagSafe power adapter and fully charge the MacBook or MacBook Pro battery until the light on the MagSafe connector changes to green and the Battery icon in the menu bar indicates that the battery is fully charged.
2. Allow the battery to rest in the fully charged state for two hours or longer. You may use your computer during this time as long as the power adapter is plugged in.
3. Disconnect the power adapter with the computer on and start using it with battery power. When the battery’s charge gets low, you’ll see the low battery warning dialog on the screen.
4. Continue to keep your computer turned on until it goes to sleep. Save your work and close all applications when the battery’s charge gets low and before the computer goes to sleep.
5. Turn off the computer or allow it to sleep for five hours or longer.
6. Reconnect the power adapter and leave it connected until the battery is fully charged. You may use your computer during this time.

Repeat the calibration process every two months or so to keep the battery fully functioning. If you use your MacBook or MacBook Pro infrequently, it’s best to recalibrate the battery at least once a month.If you purchased additional batteries, repeat the calibration process with those batteries as well.

It been a while i never clean my External HD Space, when i setup and try to clean my HD space i found one things. that i able to read NTFS format but un-able to write from the Mac OS.

If you have Vmware Fusion & Parallels Desktop you should not have the issue to write the NTFS HD Format, but you have to open the Virtual Machine and j^st to Copy or Delete it. it’s not an effective ways.

i do google for a while then found out, that Mac OS X doesn;t have the driver to write n delete on the NTFS format. to enable to write and delete there is a few 3rd party apps like MacFuse which will makes it possible to use any FUSE (File-system in USErspace) file systems in Mac. The most useful FUSE is NTFS-3G Read/Write driver.

In here first you got to install MacFuse then download the FUSE NTFS-3G, go to the link n download the dmg file.
j^st follow the installation instruction, it required to reboot the PC since to update the kernel n you good to go.
